Teambuilding from international colleagues
As an experimental platform at the national level in the field of secondary education, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools are in a constant process of improving and growing. Thus, in connection with the beginning of the 2014-2015 academic year the number of children enrolled in the Intellectual Schools has increased. So did the number of teachers to ensure the quality of the educational process.
In Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Physics and Mathematics of Shymkent in connection with the start of the new school year, an active process of adaptation of newly hired teachers has begun. In order to ensure an effective and fast orientation a program is designed, according to which numerous activities for the new teachers are planned.
In the framework of orientation, so far there have been many events, but the most striking and memorable for new employees turned out to be the event on "Team Building", organized by the international teachers for being acquainted, developing unity and a strong team spirit in the new staff.
International experts who have a great teaching and administrative experience, with the same great desire and eagerness helped their local colleagues to overcome the complexes and fears of a new job and unfamiliar team.
During the event, various methods have been applied, as group work, psychological trainings, sports games, dance and songs that all together had very effective results.
We must admit that the process of orientation of new students and staff is not over. There are still lots of other interesting and creative events planned by the school administration and the international team to ensure the adaptation of newcomers.
